A very melancholy song with much emotion and feeling. There is warmth in your vocals that reaches out and captures the listener. A very euphoric experience indeed

A tribute to Sir Edmund is a daunty task, one to which you were more than up to. This is just brilliant, beautifully aranged and performed. Top quality work. Hat's off to you, mate!

Added to my "Touching" station Ian because it really is one of the most lovely and moving songs I've heard in a long time....the chorus is a killer. Yours in tears, Carol.

Hello Ian, it’s been a while since I’d heard any of your stuff. Nice rich bass and key accompaniment intro. I didn’t expect it to take off like it did, but it was a smooth transition to more of an upbeat tempo. I liked the style of the music and the production, also your vocals worked quite well with this piece. The lyrics (at first blush) didn’t look as if they’d fit the melody (But I was wrong) they flowed and interacted perfectly with the music.

Hi Ian, Listening to Happy. Not sure that the three diffferent feels hang together too well, but I like this song.I think the Vox harmonies could have come in earlier to help it build. Nice arrangement and recording. Good work. Al H

Hey Ian ! Just gave "Seeking Solitude" a listen ! Beautifull guitar lines in that tune, or should I say a fairy tale caputered by sound ! I maybe totaly of the hook...but do I here Andy Latimer (Camel) influences ! Don't know the impact that Band had in Australia/Nrew Zealand...overhere always a dedicated share of fans ! In principle I hate talking about production...cause we all have different ears and mind ! Al sounds crisp and clear, my only comment would be to warm up the sound of the guitar a bit ( sounds a little thin) I checked as well the B & W"s as the Tannoy Mercury Speakers...and keep getting that info ! For the rest ....Very well done ! Mr Koopman...blows a real nice tone ! All the best ! Wim

Ian - just got a lissen to dusty road - I especially like the bridge - I had no idea how you were going to get out of that corner but you did it with ease! The mark of an inspired artist or a good craftsman - or maybe a little of both. Keep up the good work! Skeeter.

Ian I wrote this in the SCS, too: Dark evolving pad, piano, choir like background, acoustic six string, fuzzy electric, all talking to each other. She left him, he´s sitting home thinking about what he could and should have said. but he didn´t say anything. So she´s gone. But, well, as we know, life goes on. He takes a decision. He´ll be travelling out west, he´ll never look back, though memory locked in his heart. Anyway, he´s drifting, the big mountain chain before his inner eye, the ocean, maybe a new place to settle, maybe find somebody. That´s the story I heard. Often told tale, always new, perfectly played and arranged. Cheers from Frankfurt
